SkyStory PreAlpha 1.3 is now available!
-Added survival mode
-Added pause menu
-Hold shift to sprint!
-Faster chunk loading (less lag!)
-Ways to die!
-Added screen going red when hurt
-Added buttons on pause menu (in progress)
-Better collision system

SkyStory PreAlpha 1.2 is out now!
PreAlpha 1.2 Features:
-The first public release version!
-Added support for textures and multiple blocks
-Adjusted generation algorithm
-Added transparent blocks (like glass)
-New game icon
-Adjusted game engine to make later updates easier to implement
This image shows just how much the game has come on from the humble beginnings a few days ago… We got it built that quickly!
We also welcome Tobias to the team - he is focussing on graphics!
PreAlpha 1.3 isn’t far off now…
Hey there, I’ve posted to show off a sneak preview of some of the features of 1.3! They are:
-Trees and forests
-A brand new terrain generator that generates far nicer and fun terrain than 1.2.5 did!
Survival mode is currently being built by one of our developers, Jerry Davis.
With many more features being added VERY soon, PreAlpha 1.3 is set to be an amazing update with lots of new content for you to get your cubic hands on!

Another successful day developing!
I have been working meticulously on a much faster chunk generation algorithm - making sure every part of it is optimised to provide the fastest possible generation speeds, to avoid lag when loading chunks.
The main thing is to report that: yes, that’s right. We are ADDING A SURVIVAL MODE! Oh yeah!
Quite different from Minecrafts survival mode though. This one will require you to explore, fight, build, and think on your feet to survive!
Also, we may have a few new blocks added for the update!
The one thing I can confirm for certainty is that we have a new block checking system - this means that water now has no hitbox!

-Map saving added
-Added the name of the build to the window
-Bugfixes and minor improvements

It’s looking really good, and the performance is currently about twice that of Minecraft in terms of average framerate. There are also move view options!

The game is almost ready for its first release I feel… Just needs a bit more work…
